JSZAPhotoResizer is a Windows desktop application intended for users of the DotNetNuke (DNN) "Gallery" module.

It will operate on a folder of images, resize them (smaller) and ZIP them up into a single file.

This makes it easier to take the pictures direct from a digital camera and load them in a bulk fashion into a Gallery module.

Recommendations:

• Use a copy of your pictures. Do not operate on your original camera images. Although designed not to damage your original files, the originals are re-located and possible loss could occur.
• Rotate all pictures to “upright“ orientation first using “Windows Picture and Fax Viewer“ or other photo editing software.
• Keep total ZIP file size below 8 MB.

 

You need the .Net Framework v1.1 to run JSZA Photo Resizer. Most newer computers come with this software already installed.

Basically, the .Net Framework v1.1 is installed from the Windows Update website.  Its an optional software component so you don't receive it automatically from Microsoft via the "automatic updates" feature of Windows XP.
